A December to Remember

Christmas means a spirit of love, a time when the love of God and the love of our fellow men should prevail over all hatred and bitterness.

Lighting the Tree of Hope!

Last December 16, 2022, UP CEBU celebrated the “Pasko sa UP”. As part of the celebration, the departments around the campus were gathered for the parade and each department has parade float decorations.

Feeling the Christmas at TLRC

Christmas is essentially a reminder of why we should stick to the deepest parts of our humanity. That is, through celebration, we are reminded that we should share, give to the less privileged, spend time with loved ones and have a positive outlook about life in general. Hence, TLRC celebrates and decorated for Christmas.

UP Cebu Christmas Party

Last December 21,2022 all the UP faculty, staff and other UP Cebu employees held a Christmas celebration called “Potluck UP Cebu Christmas Party”.

Study Nook is still Open!

Around 167 students have availed the study at TLRC service for the month of December. However, most of the students in the list have come  regularly at the nook to study.

ILC Reservations

The Interactive Learning Center located at the 2^nd floor of the Administration Building is now emptied and ready for the renters from inside and outside the University. One of our regular renters, the Dayspring Neighborhood Church (DNC) rents the facility every Sunday of the week.

Giving out of Application Kits

UP Cebu as being thoughtful as it is, TLRC lends a hand to the UP Cebu staff who wants to take Civil Service Examination for a review and distributed application kits to each reviewee.

Pasko sa UP

Last December 16,2022 UP Cebu celebrated the Pasko sa UP.As part of the Christmas celebration here in UP Cebu we attended the lantern parade as part of the ceremony. All the department around the campus showcased their most catchy chants.

Each department had their float parade decorations and colorful Christmas props.

Everyone had smiles on their faces. It brings great emphasis that Jesus lives in their hearts.

Christmas at TLRC

As the most awaited season is fast approaching, TLRC embraced the essence of Christmas by decorating the office. This time is the ideal occasion to adorn one’s office with glitter decorations that brighten up one’s lovely office and make magic created. We hope to recreate the magic and joy of the holiday season. In a world full of stress and anxiety, people like to associate to things that make them happy, and Christmas decorations evoke those strong feelings of the childhood, capturing that old spark.

UP Cebu Christmas Party

UP Cebu celebrates Christmas with  the faculty, staff and other UP Cebu employees. It is also a time for get together of the employees at least once a year of hard work. Christmas is meant to be celebrated for it is the season of joy and happiness. UP celebrates a Unit wide Party which means unity prevails within the campus.

TLRC Study Nook Visits

For the month of December 2022,we have recorded around 167 student visits in our study nook. It reduced a little compared on the previous month because the students had their Christmas vacation and spent it on their loved ones and families.

ILC Reservations

ILC is still open for reservation to those who want to rent the area. So far, our regular renters are from the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) for their Guidance Sessions and the Dayspring Neighborhood Church (DNC) for their worship and bible study every Sunday.

Distribution of Civil Service Application Kits

Civil  Service Exam is designed to establish an applicant’s baseline knowledge and skill set for specific civil service jobs. It is a baseline exam that determines whether you are fit for further consideration in the civil service industry. Thus, the UP TLRC distributed civil service application kit to employees who wants to take the exam. The application kit is composed of application forms, certificate of consent, announcement letter/advisories, testing centers and list of requirements for the exam.
